INTRODUCTION
The School of Counselling (SOC) is a subsidiary of Academy of Human Development (AHD). It is registered with the Ministry of Education (registration no. 2558). It focuses primarily on running counselling and counselling related Certificate courses to train people who are keen to become effective people-helpers.

OUR STAFF
Our staff are committed to provide professional support and quality services to all our lecturers and students. We manage student affairs which include enrolment, payment, management of course materials, room arrangement, counselling students as well as other administrative and logistics support. We advise and assist students with any matter to do with student life at SOC.

Our lecturers/trainers are competently qualified and experienced. They conduct workshops, teach courses, prepare academic skills resources and see students in one-to-one and group consultation if necessary.
OUR TRAINING FACILITIES
We have well-furnished training rooms. The training rooms are fully equipped with the following:
  • LCD projector
  • Projector screen
  • Desktop with Internet broadband access
  • DVD player
  • Amplifier and speakers
  • Flip chart board and papers
  • Whiteboard and markers
  • VCR player
We also have a resource library which contains a selection of more than 300 counselling resource books, as well as about 40 counselling tapes and CDs.
